Email hosting
We provide email hosting normally for clients who also have websites with us. We use Lotus Domino mail server for email hosting as it very rarely receives attacks from outside, is turned on and left on without being touched for hundreds of days in a row and is highly scalable and resilient. You can then use either the web interface to read emails, the Lotus Notes rich mail/calendar client or your own client by using IMAP.
All incoming email is checked for SPAM before it reaches our Lotus Domino infrastructure and mail server – about 85% of all email received by the LogicSpot servers is SPAM. Yep, it’s horrendous. We have some clever filtering an sorting taking place on our SPAM proxy server so that you receive the emails your expecting and nothing else.
Website hosting
We provide both Lotus Domino website hosting and WordPress/PHP website hosting on our servers.
As with the email hosting, our web servers have a reverse proxy server before them, providing high resiliency, fail-over, smart caching and the ability to rewrite URLs and block visitors if required
All servers are backed up daily to other servers, providing 24 hour rollback against any mail file, web or desktop application we host for you.
