We are delighted to announce we are a very proud winner of the Ecommerce Awards 2018, for Best Website Launch/Relaunch for the Boodles website.
It’s wonderful to see our efforts in creative, Magento 2 build and delivery to Boodles didn’t go unnoticed. We feel the website met the client’s needs head-on – brand representation, product display, a vastly improved ecommerce UX and driving traffic to stores for higher priced items … and so did the judges.
Funnily enough, because we’d all enjoyed the project and each other’s company so much, thought it would be nice just to attend the awards and enjoy the evening out. We knew we were in the most competitive category of the awards, up against the likes of BT, Virgin Wines, Admiral Car Finance and more …. so it was likely we wouldn’t win – but let’s enjoy it anyway. Of all the award categories, ours was one of the last ones. None of the winners had been notified in advance of the announcements if they had won or not. We thought we had sussed out that all winners were on tables closer to the stage … and then 2-3 categories before us were all won by tables near the back. Oh my, that theory didn’t work at all. When they announced the winner of our category was LogicSpot for Boodles, I think all of us let out girly screams. Really funny indeed. In fact, I’ve never seen two of our staff move so quickly up onto the stage.
Following on from our success as a finalist at Imagine 2018 in Las Vegas, this is a well deserved win for both LogicSpot and Boodles, and we’re delighted to achieve this.
Onwards and upwards, as always – we’ve got some amazing Magento 2 websites in various stages of delivery just now and we’ll be back next year, with both Imagine 2019 and the Ecommerce Awards in our sights again.
