Creating a bespoke solution for a deserving cause

The Anglo-Jordanian Society aims to promote friendship and understanding between the people of the UK and Jordan. As a registered charity, the society organises a number of events throughout the year including meetups, lectures, cultural events and social gatherings to increase public knowledge of Jordan’s rich history, geography, economy and culture.

Uniting a community through technology

We were honoured to have been approached by the organisation to build a new website for their charity with the functionality to allow for recurring membership payments and events management. We jumped at the chance to offer our services to such a worthy cause.

Using an existing theme and layout, we implemented an S2member plugin to build a membership portal to enable supporters to become a part of the community, stay connected to one another and donate funds.

We were also able to implement an events plugin, to build a simple ticket system that could populate the necessary data, limit attendance and communicate with guests.

As a team, we took great pleasure in building a bespoke solution for a valuable client and continue to assist with the ongoing maintenance of the site.
