Since the 1950’s the Bridgman name has been supplying luxury furniture for the home and garden. Bridgman established themselves as a maker of quality wooden furniture and has since gone on to design and manufacture a variety of furniture. Their key to success has been to deliver the highest quality of furniture and providing outstanding customer service.
Bridgman’s old Magento website had served them well but they were in need of a redesign, optimisation and a fully responsive site. They wanted to improve in a number of areas including speed and customer satisfaction. We set out to build a Magento site that reflects Bridgman’s beautiful furniture and at the same time make a simple path to purchase for their customers.
We built the Magento site from the ground up with a number of custom implementations. The product pages allow for advanced options to increase the visitors’ flexibility to chose exactly what they’re looking for.
We also built a store finder so that visitors who prefer the traditional in-store visit can quickly find their most convenient store.
With the custom shipping and date picker implemented, we allow the customer to set their preferred date for delivery. We avoided a lengthy content migration process by creating advanced migration scripts to automate the process.
WordPress & Magento integration
The Bridgman website is fully responsive with a seamless integration of both Magento and WordPress – site visitors cannot tell where one piece of software stops and the other starts. We have developed our own LogicSpot MWI (Magento WordPress integration) to make content management as easy as possible for our clients. The Content Managers can simply drag and drop columns and boxes to create their own page layout and choose from many modules while building the pages.
We implemented and developed the responsive elements of the ecommerce web design. We also designed and created the non-desktop versions of the site to fit any screen perfectly.
