Jewellery brand, Lola Rose, started with a birthday present for founder, Nikki Gerwitz. So impressed with the gift – she wanted to create a jewellery brand that epitomised ‘affordable luxury’ – beautiful designs that normal girls could buy for themselves. Her passion has resulted in a collection of gorgeous jewellery and an MBE for Nikki.
Lola Rose came to LogicSpot in early spring 2016. The brand had grown rapidly in prestige and awareness, but the website was not performing adequately. Site speed was not up to scratch, search engine visibility needed increasing, and Lola Rose was keen to further enhance site security for total customer peace of mind.

Rapid site load
When LogicSpot first started working with Lola Rose, its site was unable to deliver the ‘affordable luxury’ experience, founder Nikki Gerwitz, was trying to create. Although built in Magento, we saw an opportunity very early to shift the site bounce rate and site speed significantly.
To address this, LogicSpot performed a thorough site audit and identified a number of improvements to the front and back-end. Front-end optimisation and code cleanup significantly improved site speed, as well as image compression and intelligent image loading.
Magento search engine optimisation
LogicSpot worked closely with Lola Rose’s existing SEO agency to boost the brand’s search engine rankings. The improvements LogicSpot made to loading times and implementation of the latest security know-how helped improve Lola Rose’s SEO performance. On top of this, our front and back-end audit identified a number of other recommendations, which together with their existing SEO strategy, played a large role in increasing Lola Rose’s search visibility.
Redesign and rebuild the website
Few the early months with Lola Rose, we had sped up their site significantly reduced visitor drop-off through the sales funnel and improved stability and security. This followed our standard practice of setup of performance monitoring and site analysis tools, gathering of regular, essential metrics across the site, and various audits with insights and recommendations that were swiftly acted upon.
Once this was complete, Lola Rose wanted to shift the brand a little and also redesign and rebuild the front-end of the website. After better understanding their customers with a series of persona workshops and competitor reviews, we wireframed, designed and built a fully responsive, optimised experience that you see on the site today. We continue to work together to drive their site even further.
“LogicSpot did a great job of improving our user experience. The site speed is significantly better and search visibility has been increased. I have really enjoyed working with the team. They are friendly and helpful – and they know their stuff!”
